BAPE on USFans Spreadsheet

Tees make up more than half the BAPE grid on the USFans Spreadsheet, with the Shark full-zip hoodie and the SK8 STA as the headline items. Belts, socks, caps, a crewneck, a polo, shorts and the Aape wallet fill in around them.

Shark hoodies, ABC camo and the STA

The grid holds the Shark hoodie in a best-batch listing and a multi-colourway one, Milo tees, Bape tees in bulk listings, a blue tee, a crewneck, a polo, shorts, socks, a belt, caps and beanies, the Aape wallet, the SK8 STA in a large colourway spread, and collaborations with adidas (Superstar), Crocs, Timberland, Stussy and an Inter Miami tee.

Sizing is the practical warning for this brand. BAPE is cut on Japanese sizing and runs noticeably small by Western standards — one size up is the usual adjustment and two is not unreasonable on the hoodies if you want the shape from the listing photos. Do not order your normal size here on the assumption it will be oversized; it will not be.

The Shark hoodie is a hard garment to make well because the graphic wraps a zip: the teeth and eyes are appliquéd onto a hood that splits down the middle, so the two halves must align when it is closed. Ask for a photo with the hood zipped rather than open. On camo, ABC camo hides the ape head inside the pattern — on a good print those head shapes are legible when you look for them and the colour separation between layers is crisp, while muddy edges give a weak run away. On the STA, the star panel's shape and the crispness of the panel edges are the tell. Everything is USD-priced. The rest of the catalogue is on the USFans Spreadsheet.
