The USFans headwear spreadsheet explained
Headwear is the ultimate haul-filler: light, cheap to ship and easy to bolt onto a bigger order, which is why it's the category people use to squeeze more value out of a single parcel. This USFans headwear spreadsheet brings together caps, beanies, bucket hats and balaclava-style masks, each priced in USD with a direct link.
Fit is rarely the issue, since most caps are one-size with an adjustable closure, so what actually separates a good piece from a bad one is embroidery. In the QC photos, look at the logo stitching for density and sharp, clean outlines — you want a filled surface, not thin stitching with fabric showing through — and check that the brim holds its curve and the front panels stand rather than collapsing. On knitted masks and balaclavas, check weave density and how cleanly the openings are finished.
Because these are small and inexpensive, headwear is also low-risk for sampling a seller you haven't used before — add a cap or beanie to an order you're already placing and you'll barely notice it on the shipping estimate. The full USFans Spreadsheet has everything else.
The construction terms decide the shape on your head. Structured caps have stiffening behind the front panels so they stand tall; unstructured dad caps have none and sit soft and low. Six-panel is the standard baseball build with a centre-front seam; five-panel uses one flat front panel for a boxier profile. On sizing, snapbacks, strapbacks and stretch-fit all adjust, but a fitted cap doesn't — those need a head circumference measured just above the ears (roughly S/M ≈ 21-22", L/XL ≈ 22.5-23.5"). Beanies and bucket hats are almost always one-size.
