Essentials on USFans Spreadsheet
Tees and shorts, more than hoodies, make up this USFans Spreadsheet hub: the 1977 tee, the oversized tee, the Essentials hoodie, sweatpants and the NBA collaboration pieces, all in the muted palette the line is built on.
The bottoms are in shorts and pants, the fleece in hoodies, all on the USFans Spreadsheet.
Tonal colours, rubber logos and one search caveat
In the grid: the Essentials hoodie, the 1977 tee, the oversized tee, short-sleeve tees in single and bulk listings, Essentials pants and sweatpants, Essentials shorts, and the Essentials x NBA tee and shorts. There are also Fear of God tees listed under the main line name. One caveat about the search term: "essentials" is also a Nike and Jordan basics line, and those pieces have nothing to do with this label — this page filters them out, which a plain catalogue search will not.
Sizing is the one place people go wrong here, and the mistake is sizing up. The cut is already heavily oversized — dropped shoulders, wide body, long sleeve — so ordering your normal size produces the silhouette from the listing photos, and ordering a size up produces something that fits like a dress. The shorts run long deliberately. Read the body-length measurement rather than the letter.
Two things to inspect. The applied logo is a rubberised or flocked patch, usually tonal against the garment, and it should sit flush with a soft edge and a slightly raised face — a glossy patch, one that stands off like a sticker, or one lifting at the corners is a weak run. On the 1977 pieces the numerals should be the same rubber rather than a print. The second is colour: this brand lives on muted, dusty tones like oatmeal, taupe, moss and dark oak, and a batch can push the beige yellow or the grey blue in a way that is easy to miss in a single photo.
