Sp5der on USFans Spreadsheet

A hoodie page on the USFans Spreadsheet: the web print in pink, blue and grey, the rhinestone version and the Juice WRLD piece, plus pants, shorts and a beanie. The 5 is the brand's own spelling, not a substitution.

Two print types, one colour problem

The grid: Sp5der hoodies in pink, blue and grey, a plain hoodie, the rhinestone hoodie, the Juice WRLD hoodie, pants, shorts and a blue beanie. Small and concentrated on the one garment the label is bought for.

Fit is heavily oversized by design, so order your usual size rather than sizing up. The hoodies are cut short in the body and very wide, which is the intended shape — a size up mostly adds width.

Two decoration methods appear across this grid and they fail in different ways. Puff print is the standard one: an expanding ink that lifts the lettering and webbing off the surface, so the raise itself is the thing being bought. A flat screen print of identical artwork is a different garment, and the only way to see the difference is a photograph taken at an angle — ask for one, because a straight-on shot flattens everything. The rhinestone pieces substitute set stones, where the questions are whether the rows follow the artwork without gaps, whether there is glue haze between stones, and whether they are heat-set, since that is what decides survival in a wash. Colour is the third variable and it punishes this brand more than most, because saturated pinks and blues make half a shade obvious. Judge against the listing image rather than a lone warehouse shot, where lighting will shift the reading anyway. USD prices. More on the USFans Spreadsheet.
