Denim Tears on USFans Spreadsheet

The cotton wreath runs through nearly everything in this USFans Spreadsheet grid: hoodies, tees, jeans, shorts, two-piece short sets and tracksuits, plus a backpack and an Offset collaboration tee.

One motif, applied across a wardrobe

Concretely, the grid holds the Denim Tears hoodie in an all-colourway listing, the Offset hoodie, a new zip hoodie, tees in grey and black, jeans and denim shorts, plain shorts in black and grey, the short sets in grey, navy and black, a tracksuit, a shirt, a backpack and the Offset collaboration tee.

Fit is boxy and sizes honestly across the fleece and jersey. The short sets deserve one extra question before ordering: whether both pieces ship together, and whether they were dyed together. A top and a bottom sitting a shade apart is the usual disappointment with matched two-pieces and nothing can be done about it afterwards.

Tremaine Emory's cotton wreath is the label's whole visual language, and it behaves differently depending on where it lands. On the jeans and hoodies it repeats across the garment, so read it as you would any repeat: consistent spacing, sensible continuation over a seam, and a wreath that stays one size wherever it appears. On the tees it is a single placement and simply has to be square and centred. The denim carries an extra wrinkle — the wreaths are surface-printed rather than woven in, which means the ink has to have gone through the same wash the jeans were given. A print that has softened along with the fabric is right; one sitting on top as a hard, glossy film has not been finished properly. Indigo shade also moves between runs, and on a heavily printed leg that shift changes the whole balance of the piece, so hold the warehouse shot against the listing image. All USD.
